***Update: Removal of Revise Item Duration***

Two-Hour Window to revise item duration
Sellers will notice that the ability to change their listing’s duration will be removed from the Sell Your Item form, Turbo Lister, and any third-party tools which utilize our API once 2 hours have passed after the start time of the listing. We wanted to be sure to make a 2-hour window available so that sellers will still have the opportunity to correct their listing if they discover they have listed it with the wrong duration.

Wow...if you ask me, This is not a good thing!!
What are your thoughts!!

I think Ebay keeps messing with stuff that works. They keep changing everything around and it is making me and a lot of other mad. Have you noticed that in the new revise your item format that you can not copy your html to work on it outside of Ebay. You can paste work, but can't copy it. That stinks for me, because I work on my listings in MS Front Page.

I wish they would just leave things alone!

If I find a mistake it is usually within the first two hours........however; occassionally listings do not show up immediately, some sellers have complained about their items taking hours to show up in the listings.........so how will ebay handle that situation???

If there is a problem they take FOREVER to get it fixed or answer an email.....and add to that the fact that half the time the person answering an email never answers the question properly!!

I agree, leave well enough alone!!

They hike our fees and add thngs we do not need and take away the things we do. I will never understand them. :(

I think this could turn out to be a little bit of a good thing. I seem to have a lot of watchers on my auctions who never bid. I often wonder if they're waiting for me to lower the auction price. If ebay shortens the time window in which revisions can be made then maybe the buyers will realize the opening bid price will not change as the end of the auction nears. Make sense?
I wish they'd leave things alone too....seems like everytime ebay changes something they end up creating 10 more problems. lol

Well, sometimes I like to lengthen an auction, if I get a lot of sales from my store and need more time.

I hope we can still change the other information! Sometimes I start an auction low and if there are no bids, I RAISE the starting price.

I totally agree about that eBay adds stuff we don't need while not fixing other bugs!

I've been trying to combine my ids for MONTHS. They tell me a software glitch won't allow it because I used to sell on half.com. What???

Also, yesterday, I tried to use markdown manager to start a store sale. It still hasn't shown up. Don't know if it will!

Live help told me it was a glitch. Um. Can I use the excuse that I can't pay my fees due to their eBay glitches? LOL

If the item doesn't have a bid on it we should be able to change anything we want especially now that we are paying higher fees.
